My Choosen Genre.

The Genre I have choosen for Media Studies is ROM-COM. (Romance, Comedy, Drama)

Rom-Com is a movie that contains a ralationship of Love as Romance with some funny comedy in and a little Dramma to make the storyline funny.

The 3 movies I have chosen that are similar towards my choosen Genre are:

1. Knocked up

2. Forgetting Sarah Marshall

3. The heart break kid.

Knocked up:

Knocked up is a story about a clean cut woman called Alison Scott who has just got
promoted in E! Television, One night, she goes to a night-club to celebrate with her older married sister Debbie. Alison meets the pothead reckless Ben Stone and while having a small talk with Ben, Debbie's husband Pete calls her to tell that their daughter has chicken pots. Debbie leaves the place but Allison stays with Ben, drinking and dancing along all night; completely wasted, they end up having a one night stand. Ben does not use condom and eight weeks later, Allison discovers that she is pregnant. She calls Ben and they decide to try to stay together and have the baby. However, Ben has a problem with growing up to raise a family of his own.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall is a story about a guys called Peter who is a composer and a likable sad sack who is devastated when his girlfriend of five years, Sarah Marshall, who is the star of a cheesy CSI-style crime show, decided to dump him for Aldous Snow. He weeps, he rails, he mopes until finally, his step-brother Brian suggests he goes to Hawaii , so Peter heads for a resort on Oahu where he ends up seeing Sarah and her new boyfriend, Aldous, a polymorphously perverse English rocker. The weeping and moping starts once again, until Peter is rescued by Rachel, a thoughtful hotel clerk who invites him to a luau and to hang out. Although he constantly runs into Sarah and Aldous, Peter starts to come alive again. Will Sarah realize what she's lost, and what about Rachel?

The Heartbreak Kid is a story about a single guy called Eddie who is forty and owns a sporting-goods store. After watching his ex-fiancĂ©e get married to another guy, he meets Lila, an environmental researcher who seems too be the perfect woman for him. Pressured by his father and best friend, Eddie decides to marry Lila after only 6 weeks. However, as he almost instantly discovers, his new bride turns out to be a nightmare. She's immature, foolish, a monster in bed, owes a tremendous amount of money to various sources, and as it turns out, doesn't actually have a job. While on their honeymoon in Cabo, Eddie meets Miranda, a down-to-earth lacrosse coach who’s visiting with her family. Sparks fly, and Eddie falls in love with her. Now comes the tricky part for he has to make a decision of breaking off his marriage to crazy Lila, while keeping the truth from Miranda about why he's in Cabo in the first place.

The locations this movie takes place are in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico and more.

Items: Bikes, white nightwear, panties.

These movies are similar to each other by having the same story board of Romance but also come Comedy to make the story seem funny, plus there is also some drama to make the storyboard more dramatic and exciting.
