Ideology

Ideology is the views from what media captures of the different beliefs and cultures from different regions from around the world. Ideology lets us know about what other people’s beliefs and cultures are because it places it into the media and we read or watch or listen to the media. If we didn’t have Ideology, then we wouldn’t know much about the different cultures and beliefs of the world.
Ideology goes behind the background of the different cultures and brings the information back to the media for they would use the Ideology information to show this other culture what it is about. For example, We know about the Indians, we know that they eat strong foods like curry, they wear a lot of those long scarf’s, some are Christine, est. And how do we now this? Because Ideology put the information there for us to know about the culture and beliefs.
Sometimes they would put pictures up of what the different cultures are like, For example, if you look in a magazine that is all about the Indian cultures, you would see pictures of Indian women with dark kin, black hair, wearing a long colourful dress, has a red spot on her forehead, est. So when you see this woman in the magazine, you would recognise the culture because of what Ideology put into the media.
The same goes to religion. Like Jewish and Christine people for example. We know that the Jews believe in God and Christine people believe in Jesus. How do we know? Because Ideology. Ideology tells up mainly about the people’s beliefs and therefore, lets the world know about their believes and why they believe in this or that.
This could effect some people in a good way, this could effect people in a bad way. That is when Racism could come in. Some people could go against what Ideology say about the other cultures and beliefs because they don’t like their culture or don’t believe in it.
Year ago, like in the second world war for example, the Germans hated the Jews and in order for more people to criticize them, they made pictures in the media of Jewish people by making them all have big rat’s noses and long beards. This showed what the Jewish culture looked like to the Germans and they also placed religious pictures of Jewish people taking blood from Jesus. This showed the Germans why the Jewish culture were against Jesus. This therefore caused a holocaust to happen.
So Ideology can effect people’s beliefs and their cultures, but it can also allow us to understand how the culture works, like if you are in Israel, you know when and where to cover your shoulders. If you are in China, you know that if you eat all your food, they think you are still hungry. we react with the culture to show some of our culture’s respect.

We therefore learn about more about the different cultures and beliefs of what people have.
